Dr. Kaleb Thompson

Owner, Dental Transformations

Dr. Kaleb Thompson is a very impressive dentist who is coming from an excellent program that allowed him to perform complex procedures. He has experience with CAD/CAM, root canals, dental extractions, implants, dentures, pediatric patients and more. He hopes to utilize these skills here in his Elizabeth City dental practice. Dr. Thompson brings a variety of talents, including speaking fluent Spanish and owning a successful business for the past several years.

Dr. Thompson, his wife, Lindsey, and his two children moved to the Easter Carolina area in July 2016. Originally, from Utah, they are excited to be moving to this part of the country for its beauty and to establish a home with land.

Dr. Karen Wuertz

Associate Dentist, Dental Transformations

Dr. Karen, over 20+ years in dentistry, has made it her mission to be on the cutting edge of dentistry and all the newest options available - from making your smile beautiful and your teeth healthy, to the latest dental sleep appliance and laser procedures that will allow patients to thrive and enjoy a great quality of life.

Dr. Wuertz is married to Jeff Wuertz, pastor of Chesapeake Community of Hope Lutheran Church. Jeff and Karen have four great kids who help keep them active. Karen’s hobbies are swimming, cycling, running, music, and stained glass.


Dr. Steve Cicinato

Associate Dentist, Dental Transformations

Originally from Springfield, Virginia, Dr. Steve operated his own private practice for over thirty years in the Northern Virginia area. His father was the first dentist in that area and he proudly carried on the profession. Dr. Steve has also served in Dare County, operating the mobile dental program for the last seven years.

In his spare time, Dr. Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, his three children, and six grandchildren, as well as volunteers his time as a firefighter with the Southern Shores Volunteer Fire Department.
